- The Transcript of Records is not as same as a Grade Card.
- Contact your Bachelor’s university and request them for your Transcript of Records.
- Order as many Transcripts as the number of institutions you are planning to apply to.
- Your bachelor’s university may charge you a certain amount as a fee for the Transcript of Records you have ordered.
- Generally, a Transcript has the signature of the institutions’ official on the official letterhead and has the official seal.
- The Transcripts must mention your full name, your Institution’s full name, the field in which you have done your Bachelor’s degree and the Board of Education.
- Apart from this, the transcripts must mainly have information on all subjects taken and all grades received.
- It must also indicate the overall grade. It should mention the credit system used (e.g. total credits obtained = 150/200/250) and the grading system.
- If the Transcripts do not specify the credit system, ask the University to give an official document stating the Credit and Grading system used.
- There may also be circumstances where your Bachelor’s University/ Institute might have to directly mail your official Transcript of Records in a closed, sealed envelope.
